Rockenfeller & Göbels represents a carefully selected group of outstanding photographers, directors, and creative talents. As a photographers’ and directors’ representation, we bring together the visual signature, technical expertise, and creative vision of our artists with the ideas of advertising agencies, companies, and publishers – we have been doing so successfully for over 40 years.

Ute Rockenfeller and Doro Göbels founded Rockenfeller & Göbels in Düsseldorf in the mid-1980s. From 1999 onwards, Doro Göbels managed the agency independently and, over many years, shaped its personal approach, its international network, and the close exchange with artists and clients. To this day, she continues to accompany Rockenfeller & Göbels and has supported the representation in an advisory capacity since 2022. In the same year, Rockenfeller & Göbels further expanded internationally with the establishment of Rockenfeller & Göbels GmbH in Switzerland and the opening of an office in the heart of Zurich.

Today, we represent artists from different areas of photography, directing, and fine art. Personalities such as Helmut Newton and Albert Watson, whom we had the privilege of representing, are as much a part of the history of our representation as numerous influential creatives of their respective generations.

Our portfolio today stands for a consciously curated and contemporary diversity of visual signatures. What unites our talents is the ambition to develop a distinctive visual language for every project – relevant to the moment and at the same time of lasting visual quality. In doing so, we see ourselves not only as intermediaries, but as partners in the creative process: close to our artists, close to our clients, and always focused on achieving the best possible result.

Our clients benefit from an international perspective, many years of production experience, and direct, solution-oriented communication. Through our established network, we support productions worldwide and assemble the appropriate teams and structures for each project – from production services and casting to styling and art department, through to post-production and other specialised disciplines.
