Way of Working

For over a decade Dominik Baur and his team are being booked for campaigns by international clients. His interest is in people and their stories and he is particularly fascinated by the emotions that he transports through photography and film. An example of this illustrates his book "The Flow", in which he photographed surfers from different backgrounds and ages. 
Dominik loves the contrast between light and shadow. He is being inspired by natural lighting moods and color nuances and likes to combine ambient light with artificial lights on the set to provide the scenery the desired dynamics.

Dominik always manages to portray people in an approachable and authentic way. The photographer treats his models with a lot of respect and empathy, which is often reflected in his work. He finds his inspiration in simple everyday situations and on his numerous travels. His curiosity and openness towards strangers help him to constantly receive new impulses.
