After chancing upon an old analog camera in a second hand store at 17, Marc Waldow began his love of capturing life’s most intimate moments. Ever curious, he started experimenting with different ways and techniques to see the emotions behind the lens. His professional break came when mu-sic artistes started taking notice of his unique portraits of them. They were fascinated with his particular style of contrasting electronic imagery through an analog 6x6 format. Creating an emotional connection between his sub-jects and the viewer, his images allowed Marc to express emotions, convey ideas and tell stories.

A former student of the Lette Verein and then through his work as a pro-ducer, Marc has gained the technical knowledge and invaluable experi-ence in building strong relationships with clients through understanding their needs and transforming their vision into reality.

Marc’s emphatic nature and professional background has enabled him to transform ordinary scenes into extraordinary images.

His style is a synthesis of authenticity, aesthetics, technical mastery and emo-tional depth. He tells stories with his images that the viewer feels.

Marc works with both established brands and growth-oriented companies that recognize the value of visually telling their story. His diverse portfolio of clients includes BMW, Kneipp, IKEA and Volkswagen. Marc is no stranger to the demanding world of advertising and also manages to perform on point during film shootings. Building long-term working relationships with clients and agencies is at the heart of his work, whether it's conceptualizing campaigns or implementing strong and compelling imagery.
